Edmonton Labour Party Working for the people of Edmonton
Kate Osamor MP
It is unconscionable that children in our country are without a home and enough to eat. This poverty is not natural and it is not inevitable. The UK is a wealthy country and can make sure every child is safe and well looked after. Kate Osamor MP

What about Brexit?
Kate is an active member of Love Socialism the campaign to reform and remain in the European Union. She has voted for a second referendum, so people can have a final say. She has also worked Cross Party to avoid Brexit without a withdrawal agreemnt (so-called No Deal), and for the closest possible relationship with Europe whilst respecting the result. Many working class communities in Edmonton voted to leave, and even though Kate campaigned hard to Remain, she thinks their voice should be heard too, particularly given where Labour’s values and beginnings come from.
